Personal Interests

Dr. Stan and his wife of 39 years, Mary Louise (ML) live in Owings, MD with their Wheaten Terrier Gracie Allen. They have one daughter, Stephanie.

In his spare time, Dr. Stan enjoys home renovation, boating and spending time with friends and family.

Biography

Dr. Stanley Wisniewski was born and raised in New York City, where he served as a Paramedic for 18 years before returning to school to become a Physicians Assistant. Dr. Wisniewski graduated from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA and worked as an Emergency Room Physicians Assistant at Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA for three years. At the age of 40, he returned to medical school where he received his MD degree. He completed his first-year internship at Louisiana State University in Lafayette, LA and completed an additional two-year residency in Family Practice in Hunterdon, NJ.

In 2004 Dr. Wisniewski joined Potomac Physicians in Annapolis and in 2006 opened Cal Arundel Family Medicine in Huntingtown, MD as a solo Family Practice. In November of 2010, Dr. Wisniewski was named Chair of the Family Practice Department of Calvert Memorial Hospital.
